The anchor link section serves navigation purposes by allowing you to create links that direct users to specific parts of a page. With this section, you can easily set up custom menus for one-page online stores, enabling smooth scrolling to different sections of the same page. The section is visible only in the theme editor, ensuring you can efficiently manage and customize the navigation links to enhance the overall browsing experience for your customers.

Anchor links implementation

To implement anchor links the same way as in our demo store, follow these steps:

  1. Identify the sections you want to direct your customers to.
  2. Add 'Anchor link' sections just above the target sections and assign names like 'details.'
  3. Once you've added the anchor link sections, create references by adding these links to a text block in 'Product overview'—enter '**#**details' in the 'Insert link.'
  4. Click 'Save.'
